HISTORY
Founded in 1980 by Dr. Darrell Ward, eInstruction® pioneered the use of student response systems in education with the creation of a small hand-held device called CPS™ (Classroom Performance System™) and associated 
software. Today CPS™ remains the leading student response system in education, with over 5 million “clickers” in use around the world.
In 2006, responding to the content and ease of integration needs of educators, eInstruction® acquired FSCreations, the creators of EXAMVIEW® and Learning Series software and content. The result is an integrated system for content and assessment with real-time feedback.
Then in 2008, with increasing requests for integration with instruction tools such as wireless tablets and interactive whiteboards, eInstruction® acquired Interwrite Learning, the pioneer in the interactive wireless tablet known as the SchoolPad or INTERWRITE®PAD. Working closely with the education community, eInstruction® leveraged INTERWRITEWORKSPACE® software to integrate EXAMVIEW®, CPS™, and INTERWRITEWORKSPACE® to create a unique learning platform where Content Meets Technology.
Today, eInstruction® offers educators a family of software, student response systems, interactive boards, both fixed and mobile, that integrate with high-quality content. These solutions have been proven to increase student engagement while providing realtime feedback to educators to assess comprehension and customize lessons. Millions of students, teachers, and professors use eInstruction® technology in 400,000 K-12 classrooms and more than 1,000 higher education® institutions around the world.
